Commercial Real Estate Associate

RE/MAX Commercial Capital is the only exclusive RE/MAX commercial office in the Edmonton region and is seeking motivated, entrepreneurial-focused agents/teams to join our commercial real estate brokerage.

Attributes & Skills:

Our ideal candidate possesses the following attributes and skills:

  • Commercial real estate license with the Real Estate Council of Alberta
  • Established track record of leasing/sales success in commercial real estate
  • Experienced in commercial sector product knowledge with submarket geographic expertise
  • Self-motivated, goal oriented and entrepreneurial focused
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • High level of personal responsibility, dedication and honesty

A Day in the Life of an Associate:

  • Prospecting new client relationships, and networking with other industry professionals

  • Preparing detailed value analyses of clients’ properties, including marketing plans

  • Advising clients in the development and execution of their individualized real estate investment strategies

  • Negotiating exclusive listing agreements, leasing and purchase and sales agreements

  • Working with the marketing department for new listings, signage, e-communications

  • Participating in best-in-class RE/MAX training and ongoing skills-development workshops

Commercial Real Estate Administrator

The primary object of this team position is to perform specialized tasks related to administrative requirements of the Broker and his associates. The position requires an honest, hard working and disciplined person.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and organizational support to the Broker, sales professionals and other staff
  • Assist with the writing and development of proposals, listings, offers and marketing materials 
  • Compile, process and track team’s real estate deals, contacts and properties using a CRM database
  • Answering brokerage phone calls, arranging boardroom bookings, welcoming clients
  • Research data from a variety of sources for use in technical reports and presentations
  • Manage team calendars including critical dates, deadlines and scheduling of appointments
  • Professionally interact and communicate with clients, other sales professionals and staff
  • Assist with administrative duties for our Property Management division, as required 

Required Skills:

  • 5 to 7 years experience in a commercial real estate office, with post-secondary or relevant commercial real estate education
  • Holding a current commercial real estate license is preferred 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), familiarity with G-Suite preferred. Experience in CRM databasing
  • High-energy individual who is well organized, self-starting and can multitask without direct supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn new skills and take on new challenges 

Additional/Bonus Skills:

  • Knowledge or experience with conveyancing and/or marketing programs such as InDesign, Photoshop, PowerPoint and WordPress
