GLOBAL RE/MAX DAY | OCTOBER 6TH, 2021
We are extremely pleased to announce that as part of the Global RE/MAX Day initiative, RE/MAX Commercial Capital and its supporters have donated a total of 159 massage gift certificates to our dedicated COVID/ICU frontline workers at the Misericordia & Sturgeon Community Hospitals!
The first official Global RE/MAX Day of Community Service was on October 6th, 2021. The RE/MAX network of over 140,000 agents in more than 110 countries and territories participated in a global-wide day of service, designed to give back to the communities in which they live and work in.
Due to the current COVID physical gathering restrictions in Edmonton we had to come up with a meaningful, but safe way to give back to our community. After brainstorming, RE/MAX Commercial Capital made a plan – and with our supporters help, we have donated 159 1-hour massage gift certificates to the COVID/ICU Nurses, Respiratory Therapists and COVID cleaning staff at the Misericordia & Sturgeon Community Hospitals!
Throughout this pandemic, our local COVID/ICU frontline workers have been working long hours within our communities providing the most vital health services. They’ve been under very strenuous circumstances and we wanted to provide them much needed rest, relaxation and restoration. We’re very pleased to provide these 1 hour massage gift certificates to give back to those that give so much of themselves. A huge thank you to our friends at Muscle Matters for partnering with us on this mission and matching the majority of massage donations raised.
